The Rev Anne and Peter Goode were farewelled at a Parish Service and Luncheon last Sunday.
They had been pivotal members of Dorrigo Anglican Church for more than 20 years.
During that time the Goodes have held almost every possible lay position.
Rev Anne was made Deacon by the Bishop of Grafton, the Rt Rev. Dr Sarah Macneil last April.
Rev Anne finished her studies last year and won the prize for being the top student at St Mark's Theological College, Charles Sturt University in Canberra.
She is now serving in Coffs Harbour Parish as Hospital Chaplain and Parish Assistant with special responsibility for the Orara Valley.
Peter has just been appointed Diocesan Lay Director for Cursillo.
The Goode's have bought a house in Coffs Harbour and are going through the process of moving home.
