Parish intercessors, led by Rev. Mike, today walked through central Dorrigo, pausing to pray for all parts of the community.
The 75 minute walk included stops in the CBD, at the high and primary schools, Dorrigo Hospital and MPS and other areas.
Rev. Mike said it was the responsibility of all committed Christians to prayerfully uphold all areas of the community in which they lived.
"Intercessions 'on foot' are good way to bring home the importance of prayerfully supporting the people around us," he said.
"Obviously, this should include churches, schools, hospitals, support services and the peope involved in them.
"It should also include business houses and professional services which are a vital part of any community."
In true Anglican tradition the prayer walk concluded with a healthy brunch!
